Airport Shuttle Missoula

A shuttle service can be convenient, because they pick you up at your house, load your baggage, and drop you off right at the ticketing counter at the Missoula Airport.  There are a variety of airport shuttle services in Missoula, MT.  The airport shuttle Missoula services include:  Missoula Airport Shuttle, and Blue Collar Shuttle (from Hamilton).  Rates will range in the $10-$25, depending on your distance traveled to the airport.

The downside of a shuttle is that when you get off a cramped plane with lots of people the last thing you want to do is cram into a crowded shuttle van.  You may need to stop by the store or need a bite to eat after your long flight as well.  You will not have that option with a shuttle service, because they are a point to point service.  You will have to wait until you get home, and then you will have to make a second trip to stop by your favorite grocery store or restaurant.

The reason you chose the airport shuttle in the first place is because you wanted to save money by not parking your car at the airport.  Missoula airport rates $8/day and $48/week, and the distance you have to walk with all your luggage can be a pretty long haul.  Sometimes in the middle of a Montana winter that little jaunt could be downright miserable.  The shuttle makes it convenient for that reason, but at the same time it is not as convenient as it could be.

Vigilante Parking on the fly is your answer for full convenience, and the anti-shuttle solution for off-site Missoula airport parking.  At just $5/day your vehicle will be waiting for you on your arrival, and it will be at a safe and secure facility.  Drive home in your own car, and stop where you want and need to.

Tip 1:  Make sure the oil and filter are changed.

Tip 2:  Make sure it the tank is full of premium full.  Water can accumulate in the empty space of the tank.  Also make sure to add a fuel stabilizer.

Tip 3:  Make sure all coolants are at the correct levels.

Tip 4:  Make sure tire pressure is at the correct level.

Tip 5: Wash and Wax your car.  Make sure dirt is off from underneath the car, and in the wheel wells.  Make sure all food particles are cleaned out of the interior.

Tip 6:  Use a battery maintainer or trickle charger to ensure your battery doesn't go bad.

Tip 7:  Release the parking brake so that the brake pads don't stick to the rotors.

Tip 8:  Remove the windshield wiper blades completely.  Or place plastic under them to make sure the rubber doesn't not get stuck to the windshield and ruin them.

Tip 9:  If indoors crack a window slightly.

Tip 10:  Use a car cover.

Tip 11:  Use a scented dryer sheet to deter mice from taking up a living space in your car.  All you have to is place them under the seats, in the trunk, under the hood and on top of the tires.  Mice don't like the smell.

Cheap Missoula Airport Parking

Parking your car at the Missoula Airport can be a hassle, due to not many spaces being close to the ticketing counters.  Long term parking fees at Missoula Airport are $8 a day, or $48 a week; you pay this price and have to walk a pretty good distance.  To get close you have to leave your vehicle in short term parking, which costs $11 a day.  When you arrive back from a long vacation the last thing you want to do is haul your luggage across a snow covered parking lot just to find your car covered in snow.  People are not courteous in large parking lots, and the likelyhood of your car getting a scratch or a ding is very high.
